THE CANDY MAN BOOKS A PLACE IN THE MAGIC MILLIONS TROPHY

One of Australia's most popular gallopers THE CANDY MAN was doing what he does best on Saturday when the Barry Baldwin trained galloper won his tenth career race in the Magic Millions Shoot Out and in doing so booked his place to the Gold Coast in January for Barry Baldwin thanks to a great Brad Stewart ride.

Snowden Racing had a great day around the country that also included a Magic Millions contender when KING'S LEGACY upset the favourites in the McLachlan Stakes from the expensive Redoute's Choice colt. The same James Harron silks saluted in the first at Randwick when Tommy Berry guided NITROUS to victory while the green and gold were again back in action when LEVIATHAN broke a run of placings to give the stable a Sydney double.

Eagle Farm also saw Victorian raider TAHITIAN DANCER as a breathtaking winner of the Nudgee Stakes thanks to a master ride from Damien Oliver taking the shortcuts home meanwhile Steven O'Dea used the services of Boris Thornton to advantage when JAMI LADY remained undefeated from two runs this preparation.

Neville Parham got his day off to a flyer in Perth when sons Steven and Brad rode the first two winners on the program for the stable. BEFFUNJAR has now won three on the bounce and his last three starts while HOLY GHOST saluted at odds of $13 third-up from a spell when coming from last.

At The Valley on Saturday PLAY ME NOW provided Cindy Alderson with the first race on the program and gave Thomas Stockdale his first win at the circuit leading all of the way. In the following race, MR CASHMAN made a startling debut in the Prime Thoroughbred silks with the Epaulette colt making a big impression.

Ryan Balfour denied Leon Macdonald a double when KENYAN WONDER got the job done while the black and white stripes got a stable quinella when STAR STATUS scored by a head over Dr Dependable.

Wishing all our clients a successful 2020.
