Snowden Racing 2YOs continue to impress!

The Snowden Racing team 2YO squad continues to strengthen after Nash Rawiller got the best out of I Am Invincible colt RULERSHIP when a dominant all the way debut winner at Randwick on Saturday.

Another newcomer was also the winners circle, this time with European import MUGATOO for Lees Racing and Australian Bloodstock at his Australian debut a strong winner first-up at 1600 metres under Robbie Dolan.

The winning run of Steven O’Dea and Proven Thoroughbreds continues and this time it was in the Listed Sunshine Coast Cup when SCALLOPINI was sent out favourite and got the job done in a big moment for the career of Boris Thornton – the five-year-old now having won eight of his 20 race starts.

Gary Clarke had a ripping start to his day at Darwin after KALMAR and TREBLA  won by big margins in the opening two races to the cheer of favourite backers. While Clarke’s day started well, it was the end of the day that has Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas cheering after DANGER DEAL and apprentice Jerry Chau stormed home winners in the lucky last at Morphettville.

Mick Price Racing didn’t miss out either on their home circuit when ZERO DOUBT at odds of 14/1 went from maiden class at Sale straight to a Saturday metropolitan victory with Damien Oliver on board.

Canberra races on Friday was also a good start to the weekend for some of our clients after Lee Curtis got things started with 2yo SUPERBELLAA, followed up by FIRST CROWN for the Snowden team and Keith Dryden taking the final race with EVE’S MISS.
